Research on various Publisher, products and related software/hardware content from the industry towards creating a catalog.
Conduct extensive web research on companies and products in the IT industry
Collect and comprehend product literature and technical documentation
Creating and updating ITAM content related process documents
Curate and organize content in a structured format that is easy to consume for an exciting platform offering some state-of-the-art cyber security product & services
Monitor latest activities related to product releases, mergers & acquisitions, vulnerability attacks in the technology industry
Contribute to automation for data mining, analyzing and curating large volumes of unorganized data
Work closely with product development team to integrate new catalog driven features into asset management
Interpreting licensing terms and conditions, including understanding of paid and free licenses
Review content curated by team, where required, as part of internal content review process
Support customer issue resolutions including interaction with other internal teams
Design and build, manual and automated systems to keep the content data up-to-date where required
Provide trainings to other members of the team in your areas of expertise
Skills/Experience:
The candidates should be 3-7 years of experience in market research
Strong reading comprehension skills, must be able to understand information found on the web and technical documentation
Understanding of Suites, bundle products, life cycle, licensing metrics, license types, part numbers, downgrades, etc.
Able to manage products and related entities in case of merger/acquisition
Proficient in MS Office applications. Proficiency in advanced Excel will be an added advantage.
Knowledge of scripting to gather information is a big plus
