This is a remote position.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detailoriented Payable Coordinator to join our accounting team. The Payable Coordinator will play a crucial role in managing vendor relationships responding to service provider inquiries coordinating with our accounting team and ensuring the seamless processing of accounts payable transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to service provider emails promptly and professionally addressing inquiries and resolving paymentrelated issues.
- Collaborate with our accounting team to ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices expense reports and purchase orders.
- Request and maintain uptodate vendor statements of accounts and invoices ensuring compliance with payment terms.
- Assist in monthend closing activities related to accounts payable.
- Provide support for internal and external audits as needed.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office particularly Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
