Job description
Responsibilities:
Test Planning and Strategy: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and define comprehensive test plans. Develop test strategies and test cases based on project specifications. Test Automation: Utilize Katalon Studio to design, develop, and execute automated test scripts. Maintain and enhance existing test automation frameworks. Execution and Reporting: Execute manual and automated test cases to ensure the quality of software applications. Identify and document defects, and work closely with development teams to resolve issues. Generate detailed test reports and communicate results to the project team. Regression Testing: Implement and maintain an efficient regression testing process using Katalon Studio. Monitor and ensure the stability of applications through regular regression testing. Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide feedback on the quality of deliverables. Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities to improve testing processes and methodologies. Stay updated on industry best practices and incorporate them into the testing process. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 4-6 years of proven experience as a QA Engineer with a focus on test automation using Katalon Studio.(having atleast 3 years experience) Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices. Proficient in creating and executing test cases for both web and mobile applications. Experience with API testing and knowledge of RESTful API principles. Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Skills: Experience with other automation tools and frameworks. Knowledge of performance testing tools and techniques. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git). Certification in Katalon Studio or related testing tools.Job tags
