Job description
Job Designation : Senior ETL TesterPosition and Category : Permanent PayrollJob description :Roles and Responsibilities (Along with Skills Required) : - Overall 1+ years of experience in Manual Testing BI & DWH technologies and Analytics applications.- Experience in ETL Testing, SQL querying, Report testing (Power BI, ClickView, Tableau, MSTR), Azure Data factory, Data bricks, Synapse along with writing complex SQL queries such as joins and aggregations on SQL databases and proficiency with SQL scripting.- Experience with data testing in complex ETL or Data warehouse environments.- Extensive Testing experience in more than one of these areas- Data Quality, ETL, OLAP, and Reports.- Experience/ Knowledge in Data Transformation Projects, database design concepts & white-box testing is required.- Expertise in writing test cases and testing the test scenarios.- Working experience on writing complex SQL Queries.- Good exposure on Agile [Scrum] Software Development Methodology.- Good experience in OLTP & OLAP.- Extensive work experience in Initial and Incremental Load Testing as Part of System Integration Testing.- Good knowledge on STLC and SDLC.- Good experience on Star and Snowflakes Schemas.- Strong knowledge of Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD-2) Testing.- Proficient in BI Report testing using Power BI.- Good knowledge on Relational Database Management System.Skills (Good to have) : - Report Testing Experience, on Power BI (or ClickView, Tableau, MSTR)- Good communication skills (both written & verbal)- Azure Data Engineering Knowledge, Data Validation Automation in Cloud Environment is desirable.- Experience in Cloud Infrastructure testing.
