- As the Manager of Third Party Risk Management, you will be responsible for overseeing and implementing strategies to manage the risks associated with our third-party relationships
- You will work closely with various internal stakeholders to ensure that our third-party vendors comply with regulatory requirements and adhere to our company's risk management policies
Key Responsibilities:
- Vendor Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough risk assessments of potential and existing third-party vendors to evaluate their security measures, financial stability, compliance with regulatory requirements, and overall risk profile
- Risk Mitigation Strategies: Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to address identified risks associated with third-party relationships
- This includes negotiating contractual terms, implementing controls, and establishing monitoring mechanisms
- Compliance Management: Ensure that third-party vendors comply with relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry best practices to continuously improve the company's third-party risk management program
- Vendor Performance Monitoring: Establish metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor the performance of third-party vendors
- Regularly review vendor performance reports and address any issues or concerns proactively
- Relationship Management: Foster positive and collaborative relationships with third-party vendors while also maintaining an objective stance to ensure compliance and risk management objectives are met
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including legal, compliance, procurement, IT, and business units, to align third-party risk management activities with overall business objectives
- Training and Awareness: Provide training and awareness programs to internal stakeholders regarding third-party risk management principles, policies, and procedures
- Incident Response: Develop and maintain incident response plans to address any security incidents or breaches involving third-party vendors
- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely and effective response and resolution
