Job Title: Sales Associate

Overview: As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for assisting customers in finding and purchasing products that meet their needs. You will represent the company and its brand, providing excellent customer service and contributing to the overall success of the sales team. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, a passion for sales, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

· Customer Assistance: Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store. Provide product knowledge and recommendations to help customers make informed purchasing decisions.

· Sales Generation: Actively engage with customers to promote sales and meet individual and team sales targets. Utilize upselling and cross-selling techniques to maximize revenue opportunities.

· Product Knowledge: Stay informed about product features, benefits, and promotions. Continuously update knowledge of inventory to effectively address customer inquiries and provide accurate information.

· Transaction Processing: Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale (POS) systems. Handle cash, credit, and other forms of payment securely and in compliance with company policies.

· Merchandising: Assist with merchandising activities, including restocking shelves, organizing displays, and maintaining a clean and organized sales floor.

· Customer Service: Resolve customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner. Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing issues promptly and providing appropriate solutions.

· Team Collaboration: Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive working environment. Support colleagues during peak periods and contribute to a cohesive and productive team dynamic.

· Compliance: Adhere to company policies and procedures, including those related to sales transactions, customer service, and safety regulations. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and follow guidelines for handling merchandise.

Qualifications:

Ø Previous experience in retail sales or customer service preferred.

Ø Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ø Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Ø Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ø Basic math skills and proficiency with POS systems.

Ø Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Ø Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move objects weighing up to 25 pounds.

Education:

§ Any Graduation degree.

Additional Requirements:

o Must pass a background check (if applicable).

o Willingness to undergo training and development as required.

o Knowledge of Kannada is advantage.

Working Conditions:

v This position primarily operates in a retail environment.

v May be required to work in close proximity to others and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

v May be exposed to moderate noise levels and occasional fluctuations in temperature.

Location: Belgaum, Karnataka.
