Job description
Job Summary: A Fortune 50 client is seeking a Power BI Administrator in Hyderabad to join their Enterprise Data Architecture and Platform Engineering team to support their Power Platform operational efforts. This role requires someone to be in Hyderabad and go onsite to the client at least 3 days a week. You will work anytime between 7:30 AM IST to 7:30 PM IST to cover US evening hours. This role will require you to onboard, set up capacities, install gateways, run day to day activities, handle performance issues, and make recommendations to the business as it relates to best practices on the Power Platform. You will be supporting the CTO organization and covering US and LATAM.
Suitable candidates have a solid understanding of the Microsoft Power BI and the Power Platform, SQL and Azure SQL, and Microsoft Dynamics. These candidates also have a desire to help the business adopt the technology and possess strategic and creative problem-solving skills to fully leverage the technology's growing capabilities. The Power BI Administrator will regularly interact with all levels of business end users and IT professionals. The position requires sound technical knowledge of the Power Platform including the development of data sets, D365 data entities, Azure data warehouses and complex extract/transform/load (ETL) solutions. Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in Power BI and Power Platform administration -- ability to troubleshoot issues and manage tickets SQL querying experience in providing ETL solutions Experience in setting up Cloud, Active Directory, and O365 teams in managing tenant-level settings Champion and socialize global Power Platform standards and best practices Ability to integrate Azure SQL data warehouses to Power Apps and LogicApps Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills Excellent communication Customer centric mindset and sense of urgency Plusses Any usage of APIs Any experience in deploying Azure SQL functions, D365 entities and data connectorsJob tags
