Job description
Roles and responsibilities:
- Collaborating with clients and creative teams to develop video concepts that effectively promote products, services, or brands.
- Planning and executing video shoots that effectively communicate the brand message and align with the creative concept.
- Capturing high-quality video footage using a range of cameras, lenses, and lighting equipment, and ensuring that footage is aligned with the creative vision and message.
- Conducting interviews and recording audio that supports the video content and reinforces the brand message.
- Adhering to project timelines and budgets, and ensuring that deliverables meet the client's expectations and objectives.
- Keeping up-to-date with the latest video production trends and technologies, and using these to enhance the quality and effectiveness of video content.
- Providing input and feedback on video content that is being developed by other members of the creative team.
- Occasionally assisting with other aspects of the creative process, such as developing storyboards or writing scripts.
- 2 years of relevant experience preferably in a creative advertising agency/set-up.
Overall, a videographer in the advertising industry plays a critical role in developing video content that effectively communicates a brand's message and values, and engages audiences in a way that drives business results.
