Job description
Job Title: NodeJS Lead
Department: BigFix Engineering Development Summary: We are looking for a NodeJS Lead to join our team and help us build the next generation of web applications. The ideal candidate will have 8 to 12 years of experience in NodeJS development, as well as experience in leading and mentoring a team of developers. Responsibilities: Lead the development of our NodeJS applications Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications Integration of data from third-party sources (Qualys, ServiceNow, CrowdSrike etc) Mentor and develop junior developers Work with product managers to gather requirements and define project scope Write unit and integration tests Deploy applications to production Monitor and troubleshoot applications Qualifications: 8 to 12 years of experience in NodeJS development Strong proficiency with JavaScript Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds Excellent grasp on design principles behind a scalable application Experience in leading and mentoring a team of developers Experience with relational databases, and good with SQL Experience with unit and integration testing Experience with continuous integration and deployment Experience with Agile methodologies Good to have: Knowledge of Cybersecurity concepts Product Development experience Good understanding of Python programming languageJob tags
