Short Description
JOB DESCRIPTION – C&SP – Technical Leader (DPT5) As part of a global team dealing with Datacenter projects with organizational, contractual and technical complexity, the C&SP Technical Leader is in charge of the overall technical strategy of key customer account. His main role is to define, centralize, standardize and deploy standard EPMS solutions and design, while technically supporting the overall pre-sales activity, execution of projects and installed base service period of EPMS systems.
Coordinates technical teams within a multi-country and multi-cultural environment, to insure full customer (internal & external) satisfaction and financial performance.
Organization & Reporting Organization: Global Customer Project (GCP), Global Application Center Digital Power (GAC DP)
Position reporting to GAC DP Engineering Manager
Travelling Even though the Technical Leader is not required to travel regularly, he may have to travel occasionally Internationally
Main Mission Pre-Sales Phase - Work on specifications with Global Solution / System Architect and Customer Control Engineers. Understand customer requirements, prototype and validate technical solutions
- Contribute to technical meeting with strategic customers to define automation processes for Datacenter
- Define the Standard Design and Engineering, ensuring compliance to Customer requirement, financial and operational efficiency while leveraging Schneider Electric organization
- Conduct application tests on specific hardware to qualify type of material to be used by projects
- Support Tender team in their technical solution proposal in compliance with standard designs
- Manage Technical Exceptions Form: Create & update the document with Conformity, Deviation and Exception
- Develop Libraries, templates and typical views as per the defined standard
- Coordinate lab activities including proof-of-concept simulations and recreation of field conditions for advanced troubleshooting
Execution Phase - Organize training on EPMS libraries, templates and standard for the DPAC in collaboration with Global Training Team
- Support DPAC Engineering skills ramp-up for C&SP specific accounts
- Provide fully configured systems to DPAC with the standard part of the engineering
- Support DPAC engineers to implement the non-standard part
- Define work package to be delivered by REP, follow-up proper implementation with quality and as per schedule
- Optimize Engineering implementation, propose improvement
- Work in collaboration with project technical leader during Design and Test & Commissioning phases to meet project schedule (FAT, SAT)
- Follow-up overall project execution and site activities led by local teams
- Inform timely the management about project events impacting project performance or compliance with governance principles
- Put in place the 'Request For Support' system between DPAC and GAC DP to ensure technical support
- Support project teams on any Software and system question or issue. Collaborate with Line of Business on technical issue analysis and fix. Supervise the deployment of fixes on projects.
- Quality follow-up of the portfolio: Bug and vulnerability follow-up, technical risk management, mitigation plan
- Propose improvements and optimizations in order to increase quality, profitability or overall operational efficiency
- Update the Project Lessons learnt database after each project commissioning (using GAC DP Tool)
Maintenance & Service Phase - Support DPAC and Field Service organizations to implement Level1 & Level2 customer support according to Service requirement
- Organize Training to Level 1 and Level support teams when required
- Provide full Level 3 support during the service contract duration (usually 3 years)

Project Technical Leaders and Engineers in Execution centers
Marketing and Quality representatives
Education Engineering Master Degree
Language English fluency is a must
French or any other language would be valuable
Experience Minimum 5 years in Engineering within Project execution environment in the energy business
Strong technical background in SCADA, HMI, or energy management solution
Experience in at least two segments: Oil & Gas, Data Center, Smart Building, Utility, Transport
