Location: Remote (Must go to Hyderabad for training) Position Title: Network Engineers Position Travel: N/A Job type: Contract Job Description: Job Summary: Networking Engineer: A Network and Security professional with 4 to 7 years of experience typically possesses a solid foundation in networking and security principles. Here are some key aspects that such a professional might have: · Networking Knowledge: · In-depth understanding of networking protocols, architectures, and technologies. · Experience with configuring and managing routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices. · Proficiency in TCP/IP, subnetting, VLANs, and routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP). · Hands on experience on CIsco Routers, Switches, Firewalls , Vyos, · Security Expertise: · Hands-on experience with implementing and managing security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and VPNs. · Incident response and handling skills, including the ability to analyze and mitigate security incidents. · Knowledge on Barracuda Firewalls · Network Monitoring and Troubleshooting: · Ability to monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues. · Experience with network monitoring tools such as Wireshark, Nagios, or SolarWinds. · Knowledge of best practices for ensuring network reliability and uptime · Communication and Collaboration: · Effective communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams. · Experience in creating and delivering security awareness training for employees. · Certifications: · Possession of relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCSP · Adaptability and Continuous Learning: · Willingness to stay updated with the latest trends, vulnerabilities, and security best practices. · Ability to adapt to evolving technology landscapes and security threats.
