Job description
We are looking for a salesperson to be based in Bangalore, India with more than 5 + years' experience.
The General Manager Sales will be responsible for expanding the business, through name accounts and strong account management, via direct and indirect channels to global clients. The role requires development of their own strategic customer base. The General Manager Sales will partner with the Solutions team to offer innovative solutions to support targeted business growth. Critically this role is responsible for leading, developing, supporting and inspiring sales globally.
This role is to define and implement account/sale plans that develop and grow new and existing client relationships and opportunities for A&O IT service offerings, in order to secure profitable expansion to lines of business across specific key clients.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Selling: Serves customers by selling services and meeting customer needs
- Customer Service: Providing excellent customer service, including greeting and directing customers, providing accurate information about services, and answering customer questions.
- Prospecting: Generating and qualifying new sales leads
- Relationship Building: Building and maintaining relationships with customers to promote services and drive sales
- Service Promotion: Promoting the benefits of the company's Services to customers

Qualifications
- Education: A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, technical or a related field is often preferred
- Diploma or associate degree: In some cases, a diploma or associate degree in marketing or business may be sufficient.
DESIRABLE
- Ability to manage complex IT solution propositions with particular focus on desk side and print solutions
- Possess an existing network of contacts in the target market
- Additional Languages
- Experience of using Sales Force – CRM tool
- Educated to degree level
