Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Accountant to join our team as a Finance Workflow Specialist. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in setting up validations for finance workflows, conducting internal and client account reviews, and developing a robust reporting system. Additionally, the candidate will focus on developing expertise in Zoho Books to streamline financial processes and ensure compliance.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
1. Finance Workflow Design:
- Analyze existing finance workflows and design validation processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and optimize finance workflows.
2. Internal and Client Account Reviews:
- Conduct thorough reviews of internal accounts, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and adherence to financial regulations.
- Perform client account reviews to validate financial transactions and maintain high-quality standards.
3. Reporting System Development:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive reporting system to provide timely and accurate financial information.
- Design and generate financial reports to aid decision-making processes.
4. Zoho Books Expertise:
- Become a subject matter expert in Zoho Books, leveraging the platform's capabilities to enhance financial processes.
- Configure Zoho Books to align with the organization's accounting and reporting requirements.
5. Compliance and Regulatory Adherence:
- Stay updated on financial regulations and compliance requirements relevant to the industry.
- Ensure all financial activities are in compliance with regulatory standards.
6. Collaboration and Training:
- Collaborate with finance and IT teams to align financial workflows with overall business objectives.
- Provide training and support to team members on Zoho Books functionalities and best practices.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Accountant qualification is mandatory.
2. Proven experience in finance workflow design and validation.
3. Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance standards.
4. Expertise in Zoho Books or similar accounting software.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
