Role Description
Reflections Info Systems is seeking a full-time Principal Data Scientist for our office in Bengaluru/Pune, with flexibility for some remote work. The Principal Data Scientist will be responsible for leading advanced analytical initiatives from conception to completion. They will establish best practices in data science, and work collaboratively with their cross-functional team to develop advanced models for products and offerings. The Principal Data Scientist will provide hands-on technical support to data science team members and serve as a key interface to different internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
- We welcome applicants with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science or similar field
- 8+ years of professional experience in data engineering, modelling, and analysis
- Provide strategic direction and technical leadership for AI initiatives, guiding the team in designing and implementing state-of-the-art AI solutions.
- Lead the design and architecture of complex AI systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
- 8+ years of experience in the data science space – preferably with the end to end automated ecosystem including, but not limited to, building data pipelines, developing & deploying scalable models, orchestration, scheduling, automation, ML operations.
- Strong project management and team management skills, Ready to work Hands-on.
- A strong understanding of statistical analysis, advanced mathematics and deep learning algorithms
- Experience with programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL
- Experience in working with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark etc.
- Creative problem solving, analytical thinking and a passion for working with large complex data environments
- Excellent communication skills, ability to work effectively in a team
- Prior experience in leading a team, mentoring and guiding junior data scientists
- Proven ability to communicate technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
