Job description
As an RPM, you will drive sales, achieve targets, and ensure the success of our computing laptop/desktop/workstation product line in your designated region. You will collaborate closely with vendors, Regional Sales Managers (RSMs), and the National Practice Head (NPH) to deliver exceptional results.
(KRA/KPIs) for Regional Product Manager-Dell 1. Opportunities and Lead Generation from Vendors: Identify and capitalize on business opportunities for our computing laptop/desktop/workstation products in collaboration with vendors. Generate leads and develop strategies to expand market reach and customer base. 2. Target Setting and Vendor Collaboration: Collaborate with vendors to set realistic targets based on market share and business objectives. Drive the achievement of set targets through effective planning and execution. 3. Co-Ownership of Product Topline Target: Work closely with regional sales managers (RSMs) and the national sales head (NSH) to co-own the product topline target. Develop and implement strategies to ensure target achievement and revenue growth. 4. Product Assurance and Competitive Edge: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands. Position our products competitively by pitching the right solutions, and offering competitive prices. 5. Vendor Support and Relationship Management: Collaborate with vendors to ensure timely product deliveries and resolve any logistical issues. Maintain strong relationships with vendors, OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers), distributors, and other relevant stakeholders. 6. Product Knowledge and Sales Enablement: Impart comprehensive product knowledge and provide training to the sales team. Facilitate product certification for sales and technical teams to enhance their capabilities. 7. Development of Sub-Product Line and Market Expansion: Identify opportunities to expand the sub-product line within the computing laptop/desktop/workstation category. Develop strategies and execute plans to penetrate new markets and drive product growth. 8. Stock Management and Marketing Support: Review stock levels, identify slow-moving inventory, and implement measures for liquidation. Support marketing efforts by creating effective EDMs (Electronic Direct Mailers), ensuring their circulation, and promoting awareness of new product arrivals. 9. Collaborative Events and Customer Acquisition: Organize joint events and promotions with vendors to increase brand visibility and attract new customers. Explore innovative channels such as OEM partnerships, internet platforms, media collaborations, and others to drive customer acquisition. 10. Sales Team Support and Account Protection: Manage transactions and proactively remove obstacles faced by the sales team. -Provide price support, competitive information, and solutions acceptance guidance to ensure customer satisfaction and account protection. Requirements: Proven experience as a Product Manager/Alliance Manager in the end-computing, laptop/desktop/workstation industry. Strong knowledge of the technology market, trends, and competitor landscape. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to collaborate and influence cross-functional teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. The result-oriented mindset with a drive for achieving targets. Familiarity with marketing strategies and product launch processes. Strong OEM Relationship –‘Apple/ Dell/ Lenovo/ HP’ Experience in handling Large Enterprise Accounts.Job tags
