Job description
The Assistant Manager- Digital Communication and Publishing is responsible for developing, writing, and editing communications. Will also be responsible for creating, developing, and implementing video-based content to support flight ops initiatives. This role will work closely with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and production teams to develop and produce high-quality, engaging content that meets the needs of the target audience. Responsibilities Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify project objectives and create interactive and dynamic content that effectively communicates complex concepts and ideas. Work with instructional designers to develop scripts, storyboards, and other visual aids that support the development of content. Coordinate and oversee the production of video and other related content, including scheduling shoots, hiring crew and talent, and managing post-production editing. Ensure that video content is produced on time, within budget, and meets quality standards. Responsible to draft notices and other Flight ops related communication by collaborating with the SMEs Manage relationships with vendors and external partners to ensure that they meet project deadlines and deliverables. Responsible for RFPs Read the incoming RFPs and contribute to discussion for themes Qualifications Bachelor's degree in communication/video production and editing or related field At least 3 years of experience in video production, preferably in an educational or training setting Strong verbal or written communication skills Proficiency in video editing software, such as Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, or Avid
