Job Purpose:

The incumbent of this role shall play a critical role in supporting the strategic initiatives and operations of the organization's people function. This position reports directly to the Chief People Officer and collaborates closely with HR leaders and stakeholders across the organization. The incumbent will provide analytical insights, support data-driven decision making, and contribute to the development and execution of HR programs and strategies.

Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis and Insights - Conduct data analysis on HR metrics, trends, and workforce analytics to provide insights and recommendations to the Chief People Officer and HR leadership team. Prepare reports and presentations for Senior Management Review meetings & Board Meetings which clearly communicate the findings & way forward effectively.
  • HR Strategy and Program Development - Contribute to the development and implementation of HR strategies, policies, and programs aligned with organizational goals. Participate in the design and execution of talent management, employee engagement, performance management, and diversity and inclusion initiatives.
  • HR Operations Support - Collaborate with HR teams to streamline processes, enhance HR systems, and ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations. Assist in managing HR projects, including organizational restructuring, workforce planning, and change management initiatives.
  • Stakeholder Management - Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including HR business partners, talent acquisition, learning and development, and other cross-functional teams. Collaborate effectively to support their HR-related needs and provide insights for decision making
  • Research and Best Practices - Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging HR technologies. Conduct research and benchmarking to support the Office of CPO in identifying innovative HR practices and potential areas for improvement.
  • Performance Enhancer Role - Be the nodal point for all HR projects being run by the HRLT and CPO. Effectively manage CPO Office's calendar, appointments, meetings & MoMs. Maintain highest level of confidentiality and work with utmost trust.

Key Challenges:

  • Project manage strategic initiatives and programs.
  • Call for management attention of projects that are off-track or delayed.
  • Review all exceptions that flow into the CPO office and advice on reducing the deviations through systemic upgrades to processes.
  • Ensure all HR processes are running optimally & are in line with the prevailing 'delegation of authority' manual.

Skills & Knowledge

Educational Qualifications & Certifications: Master's degree in human resources

Relevant (Functional/Level) & Total Years of Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in HR function.

Functional Skills:

  • Strong analytical skills with expertise in data analysis, interpretation, and presentation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in HR information systems and data analysis tools.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
