Job description

As a Contracts Specialist, you play a pivotal role in managing the contract lifecycle within our organization. You are responsible for drafting, reviewing, and overseeing contracts to protect the organization's interests, ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and minimize risks. You collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to facilitate contract management and drive successful outcomes.

Major Responsibilities

• Draft and review customer contracts, service agreements, and non-disclosure agreements.
• Ensure contracts are compliant with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
• Maintain an organized database of all contracts, tracking key dates, milestones, and obligations.
• Maintain the company's contract repository to track contract statuses, renewals, and key milestones.
• Evaluate contract terms and conditions to align them with the organization's objectives and risk tolerance.
• Redline contracts and propose alternative language that meets the company's contract requirements.

Skills/Abilities

• Strong understanding of contract law and legal principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
• Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with Salesforce is preferred

Education And Experience

• Bachelor's degree in business, law, or a related field. A paralegal certificate or legal studies is preferred.
• Proven experience in contract management, including contract drafting and negotiation.
• Experience supporting one or more attorneys is preferred.
