As a DevOps Engineer within the Enterprise Risk platform and Data Lab, you will be responsible for design, build and manage the infrastructure on cloud services. Collaborate with development teams to streamline the software development process, integrating infrastructure-as-code principles and promoting DevOps culture. Few responsibilities in this role includes:
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment of applications.
- Identifies shortcomings and suggests improvements to existing processes, systems, and procedures, then delivers a plan for a small element of a change management programme with guidance from a project/programme manager.
- Suggests improvements in current IT Security processes, systems, and procedures within assigned unit and/or discipline.
- Defines, delivers, and adapts specialized products/services to meet customer needs by selecting the best possible approaches available within established systems.
- Delivers prescribed outcomes for a designated area, using risk management systems to ensure the organisation is not exposed to undue risks.
- Mentoring junior Engineers, to continually promote best practices and culture of excellence.
What you'll need,
- Strong hands-on experience in overall DevOps functions, including one of the cloud technologies like Azure, OCP or GCP, AWS.
- Ability to communicate complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment strategies using Jenkins.
- Knowledge of Git, Elk stack, Splunk or Dynatrace.
- Proficient in Jira, Confluence, Array.
- Understanding of Configuration management tools such as Chef and Container organisation tools such as Kubernetes.
- Proven experience in implementing Agile methodologies to deliver exceptional projects.
- Strong knowledge of Cloud computing concepts and technologies such as virtualisation and microservices.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- CKAD / CKA Certified.
- API management (Apigee/APIM).
- Exposure to network and infra security concepts.
