Designation Lead – Security and Fire Safety
Location Mumbai – Godrej One
Roles & Responsibilities Manage end-to-end Security Services at multiple sites. Ensure optimum protection to the assets, close coordination with the management to understand and fulfill their requirement from Security & Fire Safety and manage the resources (human resources and infrastructure) provided for the task.
Access control – men, material, information and vehicles i. Ensure resource deployment planning to manage effective / optimum access control system
ii. Ensure sync between security and site procedures to meet the operational requirements. iii. Conceptualize and drive the governance system for continual improvement.
Asset protection i. Understand the criticality of assets and plan adequate Security coverage.
ii. Optimum resource deployment
iii. Prevent breaches and crimes against the assets.
iv. Assess and evaluate threat scenarios to change Security level as per the need
v. Develop continuous cycle of risk assessment.
vi. Readiness of rehearsed and proven Contingency plan
Situational awareness i. Develop intelligence & vigilance for information gathering. Track and acts on the inputs
ii. Establish lines of communication with Govt INT agencies.
Governance i. Coordinate for internal / external / 3rd party audits
ii. Establish mechanism for finding the gaps and closure through human resources, infrastructural and processes upgradation after due approval from competent authority (HO / Site)
iii. Able to regulate and control the operations through single line command from Security Ops center
Fire & Safety i. Inspecting fire safety equipment ii. Educating employees on fire safety iii. Investigating fires & preparing reports iv. Keeping up to date on fire safety regulations & enforcing the same v. Developing emergency response plans & conducting drills and training sessions vi. Conducting audits and inspections
Support Functions iv. Provide support to management wherever issues may snowball in bigger Security concerns – safety overseers, traffic management, assistance in IR issues etc. v. Any other tasks assigned by the HoD. Budget Control vi. Monitor & control the capex & opex budget for the function, ensuring max value for money. vii. Ensure timely invoicing & vendor payments as per Govt guidelines
Educational Qualification Minimum Graduate in any stream
CPP (Preferred) Commissioned Officer from IA/IN/IAF
Experience Prior experience of handling Corporate security shall be preferred.
10-14 years relevant experience
