Job description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical MIS Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and analysing data, generating reports, and providing insights to support decision-making processes within the organization. The MIS Executive will collaborate with various departments to gather data requirements and ensure accurate and timely reporting.
Responsibilities:
Collect, analyze, and interpret data from various sources to generate reports for management review.
Develop and maintain databases, spreadsheets, and other data management tools to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
Design and implement efficient processes for data collection, validation, and reporting to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Generate ad-hoc reports as requested by management, highlighting trends, insights, and areas for improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and provide support for decision-making processes.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to streamline data management and reporting processes.
Ensure data integrity and security by implementing best practices for data storage, backup, and access control.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in MIS and data analysis to enhance departmental effectiveness.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
Proven experience as an MIS Executive or similar role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., Python, R) and statistical analysis techniques is a plus.
Prior experience in education, finance, or related industries will be advantageous.
