- Accounting Lead (3 to 4 years of US GAAP experience is must ; Candidate must be Chartered Accountant (CA); CPA will be added advantage.) Reporting to - The Accounting Lead reports to the Director Finance COE and works closely with the Corporate HQ Finance team based out of New York . Location - Ghansoli, Navi Mumbai Company - US Based MNC Responsibilities: 1. Assist the Controller’s team with the monthly close and consolidation in One Stream 2. Assist the Controller’s team with review and preparation of monthly reconciliations such as Intercompany, Prepaid, and Accruals etc. 3. Assist the Controller’s team with annual audit – ASC 842 roll-forward, PBC request preparation and ad-hoc audit requests 4. Partner with DBA (database administrator) for One Stream (consolidation system) to ensure optimal use of the system 5. Provide support to management, to enable informed operational and strategic decision support. Requirements: 1. Chartered Accountant. (must) 2. US CPA would be an added advantage 3. US GAAP financial reporting experience, ASC 842 reporting experience required. (must) 4. 3 to 4 years of public accounting and private/public company experience (must) 5. Knowledge of monthly close, consolidations, and reconciliations (intercompany reconciliation experience is essential) 6. Ability to deliver quality work on tight deadlines, with strong organization and priority setting skills. 7. Understanding of financial data analysis and reporting. 8. Proven experience in financial project management. 9. Advanced computer skills, specifically in Excel. The Person: 1. Communication as a critical skill. Needs to be able to effectively communicate across multiple markets and levels of the organization. 4. Budget depends on the candidate holding a CPA along with CA qualification, or if just a qualified.
