Job description

Desired qualification : Bachelor of Engineering

Years of Experience: 7-8 years of product management & engineering experience in Transport Refrigeration and Bus Airconditioning segment.

People Management Responsibilities: Individual Contributor

Key Responsibilities

Candidate shall be responsible for Technical Spec-in and product positioning at Vehicle OEMs and End Customers. He/she should be able to liaison with various OEM,s, STU s, Government and semi govt organisations for Truck refrigeration and Bus AC technical specs, to ensure the most desirable product positioning of TK offerings in their tenders/ enquiries

Candidate should be able to manage all OE key accounts product and application engineering aspects, liaised between factory, engineering and Customer R&D teams especially for the design and documentation of installation component for trucks refrigeration and bus air conditioning.

He/she would also engage and develop a connect at Government Authorities and agencies responsible for spec in and formulating tender specs for trucks / buses.

A problem solver who finds out customer OEM s / STU s needs on a project, and then selects the correct products most suited application.

Should be able to handle tender enquiries- technical Bids and well versed with e tendering and comprehend tender specs pertaining to Truck Refrigeration and Bus HVAC.

Manage Engineering application, Competition Bench marking, Product standardisation and customisation continuous technical accuracy of product literature, spare list, item master and BOM s and engineering document Control

Need to have intense coordination with company s engineering & product management team for poduct enhancement, optimization OR new product development; based on the need and requirement of the market.

Should also be able to develop business relationships and connects with multiple stakeholders in the customer s organization. He / she shall partner with dealer for key customer meetings, knowledge sharing and spreading appropriate techno-commercial information at customer s end.

Key Technical and Behaviour Skills.

Understanding of technical know-how and application of whole product range - Thermoking transport refrigeration products.

Financial Understanding: Knowledge of calculation of OI, profit margin, P&L, other related Financial terms

Ability to write business reports, equipment specifications and correspondence.

Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
