Role Description
This is a full-time remote Co-Founder role at PIL Gaming. The Co-Founder will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, developing and executing the company's strategic plans, and building and managing partnerships to ensure growth and success.
About the Role
As Co-Founder, you will be instrumental in the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of the company. You will work alongside the existing team to develop and execute a comprehensive business plan, secure funding, build partnerships, and establish our brand within the esports ecosystem.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with the existing team to define and refine the company's vision, mission, and long-term goals.
- Develop a comprehensive business plan, including market analysis, competitive landscape, financial projections, and go-to-market strategy.
- Lead fundraising efforts and secure funding from investors, angels, or venture capitalists.
- Build and manage strategic partnerships with key stakeholders in the esports industry, including teams, leagues, sponsors, and media outlets.
- Oversee business development activities and identify new market opportunities.
- Manage and motivate the team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience (3+ years) working within the esports industry, ideally in a leadership or entrepreneurial role.
- Strong understanding of the esports ecosystem, including competitive landscape, trends, and best practices.
- A demonstrated track record of success in building and managing successful businesses.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Passion for esports and a deep understanding of the gaming community.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Bonus points:
- Experience in Edtech industry, content creation industry is a plus.
- Network of established relationships within the esports industry.
- Experience in fundraising or securing investment.
