Position Summary

One should have good hands-on exposure on software testing life cycle with through understanding of Agile methodology. One with minimal guidance should be able to design and implement complex solutions.

Job Responsibilities

Essential Functions

-Collaborate within the team and with other stake holders.

-Ability to work on multiple projects.

-Gathering the requirements from clients.

-Basic to intermediate level of understanding of Java.

-Project Planning - Determine a project's deliverables, objectives and strategies.

-Participate in daily stand-up meetings, defect triage calls.

-Monitor, measure, control and report to management on Test progress, product quality, Test results and Test Completion. -To provide leadership and guidance to the test team on best practice, mentoring and supporting development of team members with training and growth plans.

-To review testing requirement for change requests, assessing the impact on test plans and schedules.

-Broad knowledge of software development lifecycle(waterfall/agile) Cloud technologies, functional and non-functional test methodologies.

-Skilled in Functional Testing, Regression Testing, Smoke Testing and Integration Testing.

-Involved in Writing Test Cases by applying Test Case Design Techniques.

- Documenting, tracking and communicating Bugs, Enhancement, analysis and unresolved problems.

- Exceptional abilities to identify & amp resolve issues, Calm, Confident, Committed & positive attitude during pressure situation.

-Strong Understanding of Test Planning, Design, Execution and Defect Reporting & Tracking.

-Extensive working experience on all phases ofSoftware Development Life Cycle (SDLC), its methodologies such asAgile, SCRUMandWaterfall Model.

- Ability to write/understand BRD, FRD and logical, precise and meaningful test cases/scenarios.

-Strong communication skills to liaison between multiple stakeholders.

-Experience of any defect management tool like Jira.

-Participate in troubleshooting and triaging of issues with different teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution.

-Participating in Peer Reviews.

-Participate in process improvement and defect prevention activities.

-Prepare Project Status Reports (Test Scenarios/Test Script/Defect/Execution).

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Preferably Graduate in Computer Applications / Computer Science

4 to 6 Years

Technical:

Agile Methodology working experience.

Agile Methodology, Waterfall methodology

Basic to Intermediate level of Java

Soft Skills (Minimum)
