Job description

Job Title: Regional BHR - Chief Manager

Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka

Experience: Minimum 6-8 years in Human Resources, specifically from Domestic Banks & NBFCs

Preferred Industry : Domestic Banks/NBFCs

Reports to: Assistant Vice President (AVP)

Responsibilities:

As the Regional BHR - Chief Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all Human Resources functions for the Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh (AP), and Telangana (TS) regions. This individual contributor role requires a seasoned HR professional with extensive experience in Domestic Banks & NBFCs. The primary focus will be to align HR strategies with business objectives, drive employee engagement, and foster a positive work culture across the designated regions.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic HR Leadership:

Collaborate with the AVP to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals. Provide strategic HR insights and recommendations to support organizational growth and development. Talent Acquisition and Management:

Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process for the assigned regions. Implement effective talent management strategies to attract, retain, and develop key talent. Employee Engagement and Relations:

Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction. Proactively address employee relations issues and provide guidance to managers. Performance Management:

Implement and manage performance appraisal systems. Work closely with leadership to ensure performance goals are aligned with organizational objectives. Training and Development:

Identify training needs and facilitate the design and delivery of relevant programs. Support employee development and career progression. Compliance and HR Operations:

Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies. Oversee HR operations, including payroll, benefits administration, and other HR functions. Communication and Collaboration:

Foster effective communication channels between employees and management. Collaborate with other departments to ensure HR initiatives support overall business goals. Qualifications:

Bachelor's/Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum 6-8 years of progressive HR experience in Domestic Banks & NBFCs. Strong knowledge of local labor laws and regulations. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
