Job description
Preparation of daily/weekly/monthly plant performance reports.Manage all financial controls and accounting activities of plant including general and cost accounting, payable receivable, and payroll.Robust experience in claiming incentives from state Government.Ensure the plant’s financial control processes and system comply with the company policies and applicable regulations.Assist in month end closing, prepare journal entries as necessary, and analyze inventory valuation and inventory roll forward.Analyze plant labor, scrap, operational spending, and inventory transactions for optimal manufacturing levels.Internal/external audit requirement, ensuring internal controls are established and followed.Capital project preparation, project accounting, post project follow-up and review.Maintain accurate inventory records at the plant storage facilities as well as third party warehouses.Prepares reports required by regulatory agencies.Additionally, plant controllers recommend and implement programs to improve productivity, increase efficiency and reduce costs. Requirements: Possess a solid understanding of all the financial and operating aspects/measurements of the manufacturing areas of responsibility.Experience in SAP R3 necessary.Excellent communication skills and ability to work closely with a team of professionals inside and outside of accounting/finance.Must be a CA/CMA/CPA having experience of 8-9 years, Experience in automobile industry will be an add on.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting systems. Work location will be Pune (Chakan) on site.
