As our Delivery Assurance Lead in our Global Technology Centre (GTC) in India, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects by overseeing the scoping, quality, commercial aspects, and risk management throughout the project lifecycle. You will collaborate closely with project managers, technical teams, and clients to ensure alignment with project goals, client expectations, and industry standards, upholding quality as a primary aim. You will lead our capability of Technical Project Management, recruiting, developing and nurturing our digital project management talent including implementing Agile best practice.

The Digital practice in the GTC consists of three practices Enabling Services, Data Intelligence and Technology Solutions. As the Delivery Assurance Lead, you will be responsible for the delivery assurance across all three practices. You will need to provide a blend of sales, project scoping and practical project delivery oversight, whilst also strengthening the overall delivery quality of the Digital practice, including via the development of processes and training.

Enabling Services encompasses our digital internally managed services that support our wider business. Data Intelligence helps our clients set data strategy and governance, architect and manage their data and generate insight from it through artificial intelligence and powerful visualizations. Technology Solutions is our end-to-end service to help our clients integrate, deliver and run high quality technology their people embrace.

You will need to work with the Practice Leads in India, whilst collaborating closely with counterparts in our global regions to develop, implement and embed quality assurance processes, frameworks and learning opportunities into our delivery teams whilst pragmatically addressing delivery issues that do arise. This is a team leadership role, you will be expected to complete technical delivery, but provision will be made for a portion of non-productive time.

Accountabilities

You will be empowered to drive the success of the Digital Practice, working collaboratively with colleagues across the Practice and wider business to uphold quality delivery. Specifically, you will have a big personal impact to:

• Ensure consistently high-quality delivery that delights our clients and delivery teams despite inevitable setbacks, driving the adoption of modern methods in all engagements, capturing insights. to embed continuous improvement and shifting towards a service-oriented business model.
• Collaborate with Technical leadership from across the business, and the other GTC Practice Leads to develop, implement, and embed best practice into BAU delivery, liaising with regional capabilities to highlight opportunities for external accreditation, and implement this into the GTC Digital Practice.
• Scope the delivery approach of our complex and/or high-risk projects, drawing in experts from across the Digital practice in GTC and more widely, to ensure our holistic approach appropriately balances speed, quality, risk, resource capabilities and commercial position and we set ourselves up for success.
• Ensure the GTC Technical Authority is adequately aware of, and appropriately managing, technical delivery risks, with a focus on protecting the GTC reputation with the wider business and our clients.
• Streamline interfaces with other Practice areas, both within the GTC and more broadly, to enable high value integrated propositions, identifying complementary expertise and aligning ways of working to reduce barriers.
• Provide feedback and input to support continuous improvement with respect to the digital technical delivery framework based on delivery assurance observations and feedback.
• Ensure the adherence of project delivery to company and regional governance processes (such as the SMS, TDF, DIP) and take regional ownership to ensure their fitness for purpose, actively contributing to their continued development to ensure they are meeting business needs.
• Establish and be accountable for the quality review cadence for technical delivery, encompassing quality reviews and audits and working with our internal quality teams and leveraging industry best practice to continually uphold quality delivery from the practice.

Person profile

You will be an experienced and excellent leader in providing a consultancy service to help teams optimize their overall program delivery using digital products and services. Beyond that, you will:

You will be able to demonstrate the following experience, skills, and qualifications:

• Bachelorâs degree in a relevant field (practical experience in lieu will be considered)
• Demonstrable continued professional development through workshops, seminars and related courses and professional activities.
• Extensive experience in overseeing the design and development of large applications, including application development processes and quality control while coordinating multiple programmers.
• Extensive experience with current programming techniques, development tools, database design and/or administration of enterprise relational database management systems.
• Demonstrable experience operating using excellent interpersonal, technical writing and communications skills.
• An industry recognized certification, i.e., PRINCE2 or equivalent.
