What you will be doing
- You will own the technical / SEO side of the website & blogs. i.e page load time, page structures, appropriate linking, CTAs, and much more.
- Develop and execute link-building strategies to increase the visibility and authority of the company's website
- Identify and reach out to relevant websites and blogs to secure backlinks
- Tracking of outreach efforts via social media, forums, email, and other communication channels used
- Build relationships with website owners and editors to secure high-quality backlinks
- Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of link-building efforts and make adjustments as needed
- Stay up-to-date with the latest link-building techniques and industry developments
- Collaborate with content and SEO teams to ensure link-building efforts align with overall SEO and content strategies
- Provide regular activity and backlink health reports.
- Work on the SEO KRs to drive the business forward (we follow OKRs for annual & quarterly goal setting)
- You will own the inbound link exchange or guest posting requests on the marketing team's mailbox i.e [HIDDEN TEXT]
You Should...
- Have 0-6 months of experience in link-building
- Have a strong understanding of SEO and link-building best practices
- Have familiarity with SEO tools and software (i.e. Majestic, Ahrefs, and SEMrush)
- Have an understanding of Digital PR platforms such as HARO
- Have excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Be genuinely interested in doing impactful work
- Have an understanding of Google Analytics and other analytics tools
- Have the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Have strong attention to details
