Role Description This is a full-time on-site liability underwriter role located in Gurugram. The Liability Underwriter will be responsible for analyzing and assessing risks related to liability insurance policies, determining policy terms, and pricing policies based on risk calculations. The role involves significant decision-making and regular interaction with clients and insurers. The person will also be responsible for handling liability claims for our clients. The person will report to the head underwriter. Qualifications Atleast 2 years' experience in liability underwriting, either with an insurance broker or an insurer Analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex concepts in a simple manner Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines Experience in the insurance industry, including knowledge of commercial insurance policies and practices, is preferred.Job tags
