Roles and Responsibilities Develop and execute buying strategies based on market trends, customer preferences, and sales data. Identify and evaluate potential suppliers for the materials. Negotiate pricing, terms, and agreements to ensure competitive costs and favorable terms. Coordinate and conduct meetings with existing and potential vendors to discuss material specifications, pricing, delivery schedules, and quality standards. Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to develop merchandising plans and promotional strategies. Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to develop new product lines or improve existing products. Provide input on product design, features, and specifications to meet customer needs and preferences. Monitor inventory levels, track product performance, and identify slow-moving or obsolete inventory. Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to identify opportunities for product assortment expansion, pricing adjustments, and promotional campaigns. Analyze sales data, conversion rates, and other key performance indicators to evaluate the effectiveness of merchandising strategies and initiatives. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Merchandising, Fashion Technology, Supply Chain Management, or related field. Proven experience in merchandising, sourcing, and buying, with specific experience in the bag industry is a plus. Strong negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain vendor relationships. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
