General Summary:
Job function:
- Qualcomm's QCT Software Architecture team is helping build power efficient, embedded, next-generation system-on-chip solutions to enable advanced features in wireless devices.
- We are looking for system infrastructure software architects to work with cross functional teams to architect solutions that optimizes hardware and software for future products.
Skills/experience:
- Strong understanding of basic computer architecture and operating system
- Excellent in logical programming using C/C++/Assembly/Scripting
- Indepth Understanding of software stack - Linux Internals/device drivers
Minimum Qualifications:
. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
. 2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Developing new System SW for Neural/ML processor, which is used in Mobile/Auto/Cloud chips
- Implementing new system infra prototypes in CPU/NSP for performance power optimizations
- Analyzing new architecture feature on system infra area and help in improving the performance and power
- Develop new tools for architecture analysis and enable other teams to analyze deep in system infra area
- Work closely with CPU and DSP team and deploy the new prototypes
