Position Overview: As an M5 Senior Director of Engineering, you will play a pivotal role in leading the modernization of ourOracle Health clinical applications and driving the transformation of healthcare through AI and cloud-based solutions. You will work closely with our existing Oracle Digital Assistantand Clinical Digital Assistant teams to lead development of next generation clinical applications and AI-powered capabilities that will be shared across the clinical stack. Key Responsibilities:
1. Application Modernization: Lead modernization effortsfor clinical applications, ensuringthe approach aligns with industry standards and best practices.
2. Visual Experience: Champion the development of a visually appealing and user-friendly interface that caters to the needs of healthcare professionals and their customers.
3. Cloud Integration: Drive the adoption of cloud technologies and ensure seamless integration within the healthcare sector.
4. AI/ML Expertise: Tap into your expertise in AI/ML to advance the capabilities of the Clinical Digital Assistant and our clinical application stack, enabling it to provide valuable insights and support to healthcare professionals.
5. Healthcare Transformation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement innovative solutions that transform the healthcare landscape.
6. Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing engineering team dedicated to applying AI to healthcare, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
7. Strategic Vision: Develop and execute a strategic roadmap forAI-first clinical applications jointly with the CDA team, aligning it with the company's objectives and healthcare industry trends.
Qualifications:
. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
. 10+ years of progressive experience in engineering leadership roles, with a strong track record of delivering complex projects.
. Deep technical expertise in AI/ML, cloud technologies, and application modernization.
. Previous experience in healthcare technology or related fields is highly desirable.
. Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with a passion for mentoring and developing talent.
. Strong strategic thinking and the ability to translate technical vision into actionable plans.
. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
