India's leading Educational ERP Software company, a Deloitte Fast 50 Company and ET Growth Champion Serosoft is looking for an Accounting Executive.

Job Summary :

As an Accounting Executive, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial activities of the organization. This includes managing financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. The role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, attention to detail, and the ability to analyze financial data.

Responsibilities:

• Financial Recordkeeping
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Record financial transactions in the general ledger.
• Classify expenses and revenues appropriately.
• Financial Reporting
• Prepare and analyze financial statements (income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements).
• Generate financial reports for management and stakeholders.

• Audit
• Facilitate internal and external audits.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
• Address any audit findings and implement corrective actions.

• Petty Cash/Bank Management
• Manage cash register, cash payments and receipts
• Monitor and reconcile bank statements.
• Create Cheques/NEFT/RTGS/DD/Online transactions

• Payroll Management
• Generate and maintain monthly payroll
• Create challans for EPF/ESIC/Professional Tax

• Compliance
• Prepare and manage TDS challans and entries
• Prepare and manage GST returns (work with GST consultant to give all required data)
• Prepare and manage Forex transactions (Form 15CA/CB, etc)
• Maintain paper, bills, accounting vouchers, etc properly

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is preferred.

• Proven experience in accounting or finance roles.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.

• Proficient in accounting software (Tally) and Microsoft Excel is a must.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
