The Role: Lead Data Reliability Engineer - 8-12 years of overall experience in data engineering and architecture
- Hands-on expertise implementing and managing data quality (using tools like IDQ), Data Governance (using tools like Azure Purview), cataloguing, and metadata management
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and GCP for big data solutions
- Knowledge of data monitoring (using tools like Datadog) and data-centric cost optimization in cloud
- Delivered projects involving large-scale data lakes, warehouses (Snowflake/Redshift), and data pipelines.
- Design and develop reliable ETL pipelines leveraging services like Informatica, AWS Glue, etc.
- Define and implement data governance framework policies, metrics, audits, and processes.
- Continuously monitor data health metrics across - availability, quality, lineage
- Identify opportunities for optimal data architecture and build technical roadmaps.
- Lead teams to engineer scalable data platforms and reliable data pipelines.
- Consult with stakeholders and oversee technical delivery and solutions.
- Stay updated on latest data technologies and introduce where appropriate.
- Coach and mentor junior data engineers in the team
- Promote data democratization through advanced analytics and ML integration.
- Strong written and verbal communication with both business and technical teams
