Job description
The Role:We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA Engineer to join our team, focusing on our student portal. The ideal candidate will be passionate about education technology and committed to delivering a flawless user experience. You will play a critical role in ensuring our platform is both functional and intuitive, aligning with our pedagogical goals and exceeding user expectations.Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and developers, to understand requirements and develop effective testing strategies.- Design, develop, and execute automated and manual test cases to ensure product quality.- Identify, record, and track bugs and glitches within the student portal.- Conduct usability testing to ensure the platform meets diverse learning styles and preferences.- Ensure the platform is responsive, accessible, and scalable across various devices and platforms.- Stay updated with the latest testing tools, strategies, and trends in educational technology.- Work closely with the development team to ensure identified issues are resolved promptly.Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or related field.- Proven experience as a QA Engineer, preferably within the ed-tech sector.- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.- Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and cases.- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools like selenium etc.- Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing.- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
