Our client's a leading intelligence company in Coimbatore, looking for a Data Engineer
Position: Azure Data Engineer
Location: Coimbatore/ Bangalore
Salary: up to 18LPA
Job responsibilities:
Design, implement, and automate deployment of our distributed system for collecting and processing log events from multiple sources. Design data schema and operate internal data warehouses and SQL/NoSQL database systems. Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, and dashboards to drive key business decisions. Monitor and troubleshoot operational or data issues in the data pipelines. Drive architectural plans and implementation for future data storage, reporting, and analytic solutions Work collaboratively with Business Analysts, Data Scientists, and other internal partners to identify opportunities/problems. Provide assistance to the team with troubleshooting, researching the root cause, and thoroughly resolving defects in the event of a problem.
Skills required:
• Strong experience in Microsoft Azure and Experience with big data tools: Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc.
• Experience with object-oriented/object function scripting languages: Python, Java, C++, Scala, etc.
• Experience in ETL tools including Azure Data Factory.
• Experience in Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL, Azure Synapse.
• Strong SQL, Data querying, and Data analysis skills (Added value Spark SQL).
• Experience working with diverse set of data sources and off-the shelf/enterprise/bespoke applications.
• Experience in Azure Stream Analytics, Azure Analysis Service, Azure Data Catalog, ML Studio
• Experience in Python/JSON (Added value)
• Experience with DevOps tools such as Azure DevOps, GitLab, Jenkins
