Job Overview 
The Demand Planner SWAT (Strategic Work Action Team) role is a unique opportunity to interact cross-functionally across Supply Chain sub-functions, with Org Units, and with a global team. This position will facilitate the demand review of the PEAK process (Integrated Business Planning Process) by working cross-functionally to develop and communicate the most accurate, unbiased demand operational demand plan for the supply chain plan. Facilitate dialogue regarding risks and opportunities to cross-functional teams, including operating unit senior leadership. Continuously leverage CI tools to streamline forecasting processes, improve forecast accuracy, and create supply chain efficiencies.

 

 

Job Responsibilities 


100% of Time
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Lead the demand review process to develop monthly volume forecasts, driving alignment to the best operational demand plan. Collaborate with marketing, finance, and sales to leverage various consumer movements, merchandising, and customer insights.
Run the Demand Review process with an end-to-end look by forecasting for multiple channels
Partner with demand analysts to develop the best item/week/location forecasts to achieve inventory targets while enabling superior customer service.
Contribute to new product forecasting assumptions and participate in launch meetings.
Partner with the cross-functional business team to ensure a successful Sales and Operations process that balances supply and demand while minimizing waste.
Drive continuous improvement by analyzing current processes and implementing new forecasting methodologies, tools, and techniques to reduce effort and improve results.
· Collaborate with the Hub leadership team in contributing to functional OGSM development.

Drive a continuous improvement mindset through waste elimination, improving, standardizing, and automating existing processes.
· Mentor & train team members to develop SWAT capability within the HUB Demand planning team.

· Partner with the GPE and OU team to work on crucial SWAT requirements for business acumen & process improvements..

· Influence the Demand planning teams to improve the adoption of analytics.

· Influence, consult, and communicate with stakeholders about project deliverables, future pipeline, and feedback loop.

 

Desired Profile 

 
Education

 

Minimum Degree Requirements: Bachelors
Preferred Degree Requirements: Masters
Preferred Major Area of Study: Premier technical/ management institutes
Preferred Professional Certifications: CSCP, CPF- Certified Professional Forecaster by Institute of Business Forecasting

 

Experience

 

Minimum years of related experience required: 5-8 years
Preferred years of related experience: 8-10 years

 
Specific Job Experience or Skills Needed
-Demonstrated inventory management, customer service, and production forecasting skills

-Can prioritize and complete multiple tasks on tight deadlines
- Minimum 5+ years of work experience in Demand Planning, Demand Forecasting, S&OP, IBP , Statistical modelling or Supply Planning

- Can prioritize and complete multiple tasks on tight deadlines.

- Experience collaborating with cross-functional business partners at all levels to improve process and drive business results.

- Experience analyzing complex data and making recommendations.

- Experience successfully developing and implementing new ideas and approaches.

Additional Information 
- This position reports to the Demand Planning Leader- Global Planning Hub. Hours of operation are 3.30 PM to 12.30 PM Mumbai time (Monday to Friday), with the ability to flex hours as the job demands

- In performing these accountabilities, the incumbent must develop and maintain an effective working relationship with Organizations' employees at all levels across the company locations

- The Job involves travel to worldwide offices on a short-term basis depending on business requirements.
