Job description

Position: Proposal Manager

Purpose of the role:  

The role holder is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying and securing new staffing opportunities, establishing strong client relationships, and crafting compelling proposals to win contracts, contributing to the overall success and expansion of the staffing company. The ideal candidate must have strong domain knowledge, exceptional Leadership and Organizational Skills and a focused ability to drive sustained Presales and Proposal Management activities in a dynamic environment. Prior experience in handling RFPs for State and Federal agencies is required.

Shift timing: US/UK Shift timing

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

· Lead the end-to-end process associated with Pre-sales, Pursuits and RFP management for successful client acquisition.

· Opportunity Assessment / Gap Analysis from a Capabilities & Past Performance Perspective

· Collaborate with BD, Sales, and Business units to identify and pursue opportunities (including Sales Leads, RFPs) and develop, write, finalize and submit appropriate proposals. Provides answers to technical questions within the RFP and works with vendor tools, specialists and sales engineers to develop the content for the proposal.

· Lead the proposal management and ensure proposals made are compelling, aligned to organizational value, accurate and timely.

· Drive RFP Qualification and end ensure development and completeness of all responses and addendums on RFP.

· Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients and partners.

· Handle assigned number of RFPs involving US State, federal and local agencies. 

· Build Presales Status Updates & Quarterly Report Cards and other ad hoc Reports for Executive team review. 

 

 

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in business administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. 

· 5-7 years of verifiable RFP pipeline experience

· In-depth knowledge of US federal and state government procurement processes.

· Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen attention to detail.

· Strong project management and organizational abilities to handle multiple proposals concurrently

· Must have proven Skills and Knowledge of Industry Standard Presales Practices, and function as a Presales Lead

· Well versed with Presales, Pursuit & Bid Management Function in the Software Product and Services Industry

· Manage & Drive multiple Pursuits at once, efficiently meeting stringent Proposal submission deadlines.

· Exceptional Interpersonal skills with a good temperament and attitude

· Strong Collaboration Skills to align with Sales, Marketing, Business Units, Delivery, and Technology SMEs
