Role Summary
We are currently seeking an Events Senior Specialist, Asia to join our global Events & Partnerships Centre of Excellence. The incumbent will be solely responsible for delivering events in India and across the Asia region.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage key dates and timelines of multiple events simultaneously, including building plans which consider guest experience, budget, timeline, communication requirements, and workplan that oversees all project workstreams
- Seamless coordination and execution of complex event logistics
- Sharing attendee reports and event data, post event briefing, opportunities and ROI reporting, budget reconciliation and promotion of follow up activities
- Manage and reconcile event spend and budgets, processing all related payments
- Creative thinking in elevating the team’s client events program, designing events that support marketing objectives ensuring that the format, audience experience and ROI are carefully considered
- Cross-functional collaboration with other marketing teams on event management processes, including Digital, Creative, Communications and Content, providing advice on best-in-class methods for each event and audience type
- Relationship building and influencing key stakeholders, in partnership with functional leaders, to gain approvals on proposals and recommendations
- Ability to present ideas confidently to partners and internal clients
Skills and experience that will lead to success
This position will suit a someone with the following experience:
- Experience of marketing and event management in a global professional services or agency environment is preferred
- Proven experience of successfully building and executing events from start to finish
- Solid understanding of foundational marketing including digital and social media strategies to drive awareness and engagement
- Knowledge of marketing technologies including Eloqua, Webex Events, ON24, Cvent, Oracle
- Experience and knowledge of project management and budgeting principles, methodologies and tools
- Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a variety of audiences at all levels of seniority, across functions and geographies – a strong presence and experience in presenting to senior audiences
