Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as the Head of Operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing all operational activities across our nationwide network. This role requires strong leadership skills, a strategic mindset, and a passion for driving innovation and efficiency in the logistics industry. Key Responsibilities: Operational Management: Oversee day-to-day operations of all facilities and distribution centers across India. Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and standards to ensure efficiency and compliance with regulatory requirements. Monitor operational performance metrics and KPIs to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous optimization. Team Leadership and Development: Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of operations managers and staff to achieve operational excellence and meet performance targets. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning within the operations team. Technology and Innovation: Identify opportunities to leverage technology and automation to streamline operations, improve productivity, and enhance customer satisfaction. Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge. Client Relationship Management: Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to understand client requirements and ensure the delivery of high-quality logistics solutions. Proactively address client concerns and seek opportunities to add value and exceed expectations. Risk Management and Compliance: Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate operational risks and ensure business continuity. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, safety standards, and quality management systems. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred. Minimum of 10 years of experience in operations management within the logistics or supply chain industry, with a proven track record of success in driving operational efficiency and delivering results. Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others to achieve common goals. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making. In-depth knowledge of logistics operations, processes, and best practices. Experience with implementing and optimizing logistics management systems and technology solutions. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage multiple priorities.Job tags
