Role Description We are seeking an experienced and results-driven General Manager to oversee the management of various mines within our organization. The General Manager will be responsible for leading and coordinating all aspects of mining operations, including production, safety, environmental compliance, and stakeholder relations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mining management, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of achieving operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities: To ensure strategic goals are met by setting operational policies, creating and maintaining budgets, managing employees, and more. Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic plans, drive operational improvements, and achieve business objectives. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage competing priorities. Proficiency in financial management, budgeting, and cost control. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, or a related field. Master's degree or MBA is a plus. Proven experience in senior management roles in the mining industry. Strong technical knowledge of mining operations, processes, and equipment.Job tags
