What you'll do: Problem scoping: Collaborate on product ideas with product partners, and bring user-first critical thinking to assess their impact on user experience. Holistic product design: Develop a complete understanding of a product area, the key user journeys within, and their relative frequency, importance, and interconnectivity. Independent design execution: Exhaustively explore design possibilities for a problem. Rationally narrow down to a design recommendation with a strong focus on its short-term & and long-term implications. Deliver high-quality visual design work and support production with engineering partners. Guardianship: Contribute to improving our cross-functional collaboration to improve the quality of the final product. Citizenship: Contribute to improving the tooling, productivity, and efficiency of the design team What we look for: We emphasize on proof of work more than your credentials. Experience in working with higher-order product problems with a large scope. Demonstration of strong user-first thinking. Rigorous attention to detail and the drive to defend user-centric decisions. Experience with shipping real products on the web & and mobile. High-quality portfolio showcasing strong visual design and interface design skills.
