Job description
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement IT security policies and procedures to protect the company's information assets from unauthorized access, modification, or destruction. Monitor compliance with IT security policies and procedures and report any violations to senior management. Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and address potential security risks. Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure the timely recovery of critical business functions in the event of a security breach or other disaster. Stay up-to-date on emerging IT security threats and vulnerabilities and ensure that the company's security policies and procedures are adjusted accordingly. Provide guidance and support to internal teams on IT security best practices and ensure that security awareness training is conducted regularly. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure that all IT systems, applications, and infrastructure are configured securely and comply with relevant regulations and standards. Prepare reports on IT security metrics and present findings to senior management. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 6-8 years of experience in IT security and compliance, including experience developing and implementing security policies and procedures. Experience with security-related standards and regulations such as ISO 27001, PCI DSS, and GDPR. Hands-on experience with security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and security information and event management systems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are a plus.
