Job description
We need person for managing our Warehouses, godowns. He will look after unloading and proper stacking of raw material bags including insurance of material, godown, manage Hamaal ( labour) at various godowns and plant. Make contracts with them and manage total work.
Key Responsibilities:
Commercial Strategy Development:
- Formulate and execute comprehensive commercial strategies aligned with overall business objectives.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for growth and expansion.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align commercial initiatives with production capabilities.
Sales and Revenue Management:
- Lead the sales team in achieving revenue targets and market share goals.
- Develop pricing strategies and promotional programs to maximize sales and profitability.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and growth.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to enhance brand visibility and customer engagement.
Contract Negotiation and Management:
- Negotiate and finalize contracts with clients, suppliers, and other business partners.
- Ensure compliance with contractual agreements and terms.
- Collaborate with legal and finance teams to mitigate commercial risks.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing commercial team.
- Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture within the commercial department.
- Provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback to team members.
Budget Planning and Financial Analysis:
- Develop and manage the commercial department budget.
- Conduct financial analysis to assess the profitability of commercial initiatives.
- Implement cost-effective measures to optimize commercial operations.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- Proven experience (X+ years) in a senior-level commercial role within the food processing and manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of market trends, consumer behavior, and regulatory requirements in the food industry.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think strategically and execute operational plans effectively.
- Proficient in data analysis and use of relevant software tools.
- Leadership experience with a track record of building and managing successful team
