The Senior Operations Specialist is responsible for meeting the daily delive rable s of the client s Service Level Agreement. The Senior Specialist will require a comprehensive understanding of the fundamentals of accounting, trade capture and data processing. The successful candidate will have the ability to follow processes and ha ve a fundamental understanding of complex financial instruments. As a member of the Pre-Production Team, the Senior Operations Specialist is responsible to manage all aspects of daily operational deliverables through Citco s internal accounting and process mana gement software . This team is expected to be able to provide on-time deliverables and resolv e data issues .

Main Job Functions/Tasks

• Demonstrate ownership of assigned work and ensure timely completion, in line with demanding client service agreemen ts
• Su pport the conversion of any new clients and existing migrations in line with our standard operating model.
• Configuration and maintenance of interfaces that are used to capture transaction data.
• Work with internal and external clients to resolve any op en tr ade capture issues .
• Assist in verifying test results for all in house system enhancements
• Assist operations staff to resolve day-to-day issues
• Coaching of junior staff
• Work with teams within and outside of Pre-Production to identify and implement proc ess i mprovement
• Partake in the daily hand over of open tasks .
• Preparation of Sundry interest accrual schedules and booking/verifying them on accounting system of a portfolio of hedge fund clients.
• Performing bond interest accrual schedule in respect of a p ortfo lio of hedge fund clients;
• Maintaining day-to-day relationships with Citco Operational Support, Middle Office and Fund Accounting teams.
• Prepare and review E-binder after NAV is being completed by Fund Accounting team.

Education & Experiences

• Bache lor o r master level degree in accounting, finance, business, economics or other relevant professional designation (CFA, CGA, CMA, CA, CPA);
• Minimum 2 years in Financial Services with an exposure Operations processing

• Product knowledge, Domestic, Global an d OTC security markets, Fixed Income and derivative product knowledge.
• Comfortable with the Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel .
• Will require a comprehensive understanding of the fundamentals of accounting, trade capture and data processing
• Understanding of bond interest accrual schedule in respect of a portfolio of hedge fund clients
