Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Chartered Accountant located in Kolkata. The candidate will be responsible for day-to-day accounting, finance and taxation tasks, such as bookkeeping, tax compliance and finalization of accounts. The candidate will also be responsible for identifying and advising clients on financial and business matters, as well as managing client relationships.

Qualifications

• Expertise in accounting, finance, and taxation
• Knowledge of Indian accounting and tax laws, industry-specific regulations, and financial reporting standards
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Experience with accounting software and MS Office
• Chartered Accountant certification is required
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in commerce, accounting, or finance is beneficial
