Experience: 15 yrs

Location: Gujarat (Gandhinagar)

Position Overview: 15 years in running and managing IT operations with Major IT or Banking and Finance sector. Holds Key knowledge on how IT functionality and its infrastructure is driven.

VP - Technology is responsible to establish the Technical vision by leading all of the aspects of Company Technological team. Plays the role of Top Technology executive showcasing integral role in Planned Direction/ Development and Future Growth. He is responsible for managing technology resources and supports all banking transactional support given by ISG. The duties also include planning and organizing day-to-day activities Has the capability to lead the organization goals to maximize returns from investment to improve on only operational efficiency and effectiveness but to ensure that it is able to impact and reach as many Banking and Non-Banking clients as possible using technology as an enabler. The VP Technology will provide the vision and the leadership from an IT and information management perspective and will be considered a leader within their field of expertise. i

Roles & Responsibilities:

1) Provide vision, leadership and governance regarding the development of a Technology Strategy and associated architecture, ensuring alignment with the ISG vision and goals and ensure the adoption of industry best practice. 2) Optimizing and managing the technology network in a manner it delivers high efficiency with sufficient resilience and yet managing costs effectively 3) Develop and maintain overall framework of IT policies, standards and strategies that will empower business and people to deliver on their commitments aligned to the strategy and budgets 4) Design, deliver and manage the provision of secure, scalable, reliable and stable services – both internal systems and customer facing – to support organizational outcomes through effective risk management strategies. 5) As part of business continuity plan, ensure that there is no failure in business operations and appropriate plans are in place and regularly tested for readiness for unforeseen and unexpected events which can impact the business continuity. 6) Identify and evaluate opportunities for organizational led innovation and development to deliver solutions that meet internal and external stakeholder requirements. 7) Engage and influence decision makers in relation to IT and information management matters including the reporting of project progress to key partners, including the Management Team and the ISG Board 8) As part of the Executive Team, work closely with the team to contribute to the strategic direction setting of the organization. 9) Developing long term plans to sustain and support the business, anticipating the future trends. 10) Lead strategic insight and overview of business case justifications and ROI analysis for IT spending and initiatives. 11) Ensure total quality management through uniform processes and procedures. 12) Manage competing priorities 13) Effective problem solving and decision making skills. 14) Flexible and willing to embrace change and contribute to a culture that promotes innovation. 15) Support and promote the work and maintain the positive image of the organization. 16) Excellent Team Management skills. 17) Maintain high standards of work practices and ensure integrity, respect and confidentiality at all times.

Qualification. Tech / M. Tech / MCA/Masters in Information Technology.

Skills Required: Well versed with Computer Languages Oracle / Java / C/ C++ / SQL, etc....
