Job description

Key Accountabilities

and Responsibilities Responsible for driving robustness into the architected systems by ensuring the architecture Principles and Design Rules are followed, driving quality and robustness by managing feedback from delivered components. Delivery of the Product Software Requirements and supporting Robust delivery of the Software components. Coaching the development process of AUTOSAR-compliant ECUs, from specification to series production. Requirements gathering and co-ordination with cross functional teams. Capture, coordinate and successfully implementation of the requirements based on AUTOSAR standard. Supporting development activity of Autosar Application Layer and RTE configuration. Understanding of Vehicle Electrical Architecture, different ECU functionality, operating system, and software requirements. Teamwork: Positive collaborator, working with a team of Architecture, system, hardware, software and controls engineers, including an offshore team, to deliver concept and production systems in a timely manner. Shares knowledge with others through regular training and delivery support.

Key Interactions

Working within Product Engineering across multiple work domain groups and sub-teams. Collaborating with other Architects, Software Engineers to align processes and develop efficiencies.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Essential: Degree in Electronics, Software or Automotive / Aerospace engineering. Experienced with Architect role and SysML modelling

in tools such as MSOSA, Enterprise Architect or Rhapsody. Expertise in Requirement management and tools like Doors or TRM. Expert knowledge of the AUTOSAR stack

like of Communication, Memory, Diagnostics, Network Management, and familiarity with AUTOSAR configuration tools (DaVinci Developer / Configurator, EB Tresos, Dspace Simulink or similar) Experience in AUTOSAR Application development and Knowledge of RTE Understanding of network technologies such as CAN FD, Ethernet and SOME IP and keep awake, start up, shutdown behaviour. Detailed understanding of Network Management principles such as NM, Partial Networking. Knowledge of Functional Safety and Cyber Security software requirements Knowledge of automotive diagnostics and system dev tools (CANalyzer, CANoe, XCP, Trace32 Lauterbach etc.) Good knowledge of microcontroller and SoC architecture, device drivers, compilers, and debuggers Experience with Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS) and architectures Experience in reading schematics and data sheets and with board bringup. Experience with on-chip debugging tools and troubleshooting both software and hardware. Experience with embedded software development using C/C++ Desirable : Experience developing automation scripts to support AUTOSAR configuration and testing. Knowledge of the software development process and industry tool sets and Agile Development environment Worked with scripting languages like CAPL, Make, Python, and Perl. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with strong influencing and engagement skills Experience with safety-critical systems and software, including standards such as ISO26262, IEC61508 or similar.
