Job description

Here's what will be in store for you at cred once you join as a technology leader.Expectations :- Technology orientation : create a culture to enable technology as a catalyst for solving business & customer problems.- Ensure the best engineering practices are adopted & followed across the organization.- Hands-on with the technology stack and tools used by the team and can lead by example.- Works closely with architects to choose the right technology stack & rasp (reliability, availability, scalability & performance) so that the characteristics of the product are intact.- Apply the first-principles approach to solving technological problems.Expectations :- Delivery orientation: drives results & focuses on outcomes.- Responsible for timeliness and quality of deliverables.- Communicates effectively and keeps internal & external stakeholders updated on the progress of projects - Anticipate problems & unblock the team proactively Expectations :- Organizational leadership: understands the big picture & impact of day-to-day decisions on business, products & customers.- Set the right direction for the team and lead by example.- Align & inspire the team to gravitate towards the shared vision.- Enable agility to respond to product changes effectively.- Innate ability to be trusted by everyone.Expectations : People management :- Hire the right talent & manage the team's performance.- Mentor & coach the team.- Actively engage with the team and help build their career path.- Manage conflicts proactively and provide timely feedback.- Motivate, inspire, recognize & reward good performance.- You should apply if you: possess 8+ years of experience (with recent years of experience being an engineering manager or staff engineer).- Exhibit strong competencies in software design & architecture along with a deeper understanding of the scalability of distributed systems.- Are experienced in agile methodologies like scrum.- Have the ability to make decisions independently.- Can lend structure.- Have the ability to communicate and manage stakeholders effectively.Qualifications :- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.- Proven experience in a leadership role within the technology domain.- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Project management experience with a successful track record of delivering technology projects.- Knowledge of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and cybersecurity.- Ability to lead and inspire a diverse team of technology professionals.- Demonstrated ability to align technology initiatives with business objectives.
